About the Role
Creston Community School District is seeking compassionate, patient individuals to serve as Paraprofessionals/Teacher's Aides. These positions support classroom instruction and provide direct assistance to students who need additional support.
Responsibilities
- Support lead teachers with classroom instruction and activities
- Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance to students
- Help students with daily tasks, assignments, and behavioral goals
- Assist with record keeping and communication with teachers
- Supervise students during lunch, recess, and transitions
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate's degree or 60 college credit hours preferred (may be required for some positions)
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love of working with children
- Ability to pass background check
- Experience with children in educational or childcare settings preferred
Pay & Benefits
