About the Role
Union County Mechanical is a locally owned HVAC contractor serving Creston and surrounding communities. We're looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to join our growing team. Company truck, tools, and phone provided.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot heating, cooling, and ventilation issues
- Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups
- Communicate professionally with customers and document service calls
- Maintain company vehicle and equipment in excellent condition
Requirements
- 2+ years HVAC experience preferred
- EPA 608 certification preferred — will support obtaining if not currently certified
- Valid Iowa driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your daily schedule
Pay & Benefits
- Pay: $22–$32/hr depending on experience and certifications
- Company truck provided (take-home)
