About the Role
Southwest Iowa Transport is seeking an experienced CDL Class A driver for regional routes across Iowa and Missouri. Home most weekends — this is a true regional position, not OTR.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer on regional routes
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT logs
- Deliver freight on time with professional customer interaction
- Maintain a clean MVR and comply with all DOT regulations
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL-A driving experience
- Clean MVR — no DUIs, reckless driving, or major violations in past 3 years
- Must pass DOT physical and drug screen
- Ability to handle and secure freight
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $0.58–$0.65 per mile depending on experience
- Home time: Most weekends
- Routes: Iowa and Missouri regional
